Mechatronic design engineer

You are involved every day in designing, developing and realizing projects for our customers, mostly in equipment and machine construction. The team in which you will work is small, but multidisciplinary. Our lines of communication are short and informal. You get plenty of room to develop further.

Profile of the position:

• As a design engineer you design modules and devices. You do this independently or as a participant in a larger project team.
• Depending on the complexity, you are responsible for the whole. You often are in direct contact with our customers.
• You work out your designs yourself or supervise a fellow engineer.
• If necessary, you will also ensure the realization and correct functioning of your design.

Your tasks mainly consist of:

• Consultation with Project Manager;
• Conceptual Design & Engineering;
• Drawing up and checking planning for engineering;
• Drawing up and checking budget for engineering;
• Managing (junior) engineers.

You are flexible and inventive and enjoy picking up new developments and looking for targeted and practical solutions. You take your own responsibility and take on everything that is necessary to make your assignment a success.

• A completed mechanical engineering education at bachelor's or master's level;
• Several years of relevant experience in mechatronic engineering or special mechanical engineering;
• You can work with modern CAD packages and know how to build devices and get them working;
• You have good contact qualities and are focused on cooperation;
• You are communicative and master both the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
