This is what your new job looks like

As an Electrical Engineer you are responsible for realizing projects for the High Tech industry. These are often complex mechatronic systems, often at the limit of what is technically possible with challenges in the field of sub-micronmotion control, complex control software, (thermal) stability, contamination and optics.

In this role you design modules and devices. You do this independently or as a member of a multidisciplinary project team. Depending on the complexity, you are responsible for the whole. You also have direct contact with end customers, who often come from high-tech equipment and machine construction.

Your activities include: component selection, making electrical calculations such as power, heat management and leakage current. In addition, you are responsible for the design of non-standard PCBs. Maintaining, implementing or improving electrical systems is also one of your tasks. You ensure that products are in line with the design requirements and, if necessary, provide feedback for improvement to fellow engineers. Finally, you ensure the required electrical documentation for a smooth transition and delivery of the project.

Job requirements

You are flexible, innovative and enjoy taking on new developments and looking for targeted, practical solutions. You take your own responsibility and do everything you can to make your assignment a success. The other job requirements are:

• An Engineering education at the Higher Vocational/ University Education level preferably in the direction of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related direction;
• You preferably have already gained several years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer, but starters are very welcome;
• You have experience in designing electrical diagrams in E-plan;
• Some experience or interest in PCB design is a plus;
• You are handy in building devices and know how to get them working;
• You have good contact qualities and are focused on cooperation;
• You are able to translate the needs of end customers into concrete solutions;
• You can communicate well in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
