Protobuilder (Mechatronics Technician)
Our projects are challenging, innovative and very diverse. As a Mechatronic Technician within our technical engineering firm, you are responsible for building, assembling and testing new devices and systems. These devices are developed based on specific customer needs and must meet the agreed quality requirements. You play a crucial role in realizing high-quality technical solutions that meet both functional and quality requirements.
Activities:
At ZEST-Innovate, you work on a wide range of projects with a lot of diversity in applications, such as automotive, high-tech, and the medical industry.
- Construction and assembly: Assembling complex devices and systems according to technical drawings, schematics and specifications. The work is diverse, ranging from prototypes and test setups to pilot runs and small series, providing new challenges every day.
- Testing and quality assurance: Performing tests and measurements on the assembled systems to check whether they meet the established quality requirements and specifications of the customer (in consultation with the project team).
- Troubleshooting: Resolving technical issues that may occur during the construction and testing phase and implementing necessary adjustments to ensure the functionality and quality of the system. Additionally, contributing to improvements by actively collaborating with the team on optimizations.
- Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, designers and other team members to coordinate the entire production process and ensure that the system meets the stated requirements.
- Safety control: Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards during the construction and testing of the systems.
What we ask:
- Education Level 4 Secondary vocational education.(WTB, Mechatronics, Electro) or equivalent qualifications are also welcome;
- Affinity with building technical systems and understanding how to make them operational;
- Knowledge and experience with reading both mechanical and electrical drawings Inventive in problem solving and accuracy;
- Good communication skills, command of Dutch and (preferably) English;
- Team player;
- Great sense of responsibility and quality consciousness.
