About the role
At ZEST-Innovate you do not work in a large hierarchical company, but in a close-knit team where everyone knows each other and makes a difference together. As Senior Coordinator Quality & Operations you are the key link between our workshop, engineering and project management. You ensure that our products are built, tested and delivered correctly, safely and according to the right quality standards. You maintain overview, bring structure and help colleagues to improve every day. In doing so, you combine technical knowledge with quality awareness and coaching leadership.
Why this role is a real new challenge:
- Major impact on our projects: You monitor the quality of production, assembly and testing and are involved right through to the final release of products to the client.
- Responsibility & structure: You organize the activities within the workshop, monitor planning, quality and safety and ensure an efficient division of tasks.
- Technology and quality: You are actively involved in functional, mechanical, electrical and system tests and translate test results into concrete improvements.
- Coaching and development: You guide employees both professionally and personally and help them grow in independence and responsibility.
- Continuous improvement: You identify where processes can be smarter, safer or more efficient and get the space to actually implement improvements.
- And you never stand alone: You work closely with engineering, project management and operations and can always rely on the entire ZEST team.
What you will do
- You are responsible for operational quality within the workshop and monitor production, assembly and testing processes;
- You organize, implement and improve quality procedures and work instructions;
- You assess drawings and drawing packages on quality, completeness and manufacturability and provide targeted feedback for improvement;
- You coordinate incoming and outgoing quality controls of materials, components and end products;
- You analyze quality deviations and initiate corrective and preventive measures;
- You coordinate the preparation, execution and assessment of technical tests and interpret the results;
- You are responsible for the correct release of products to the client;
- You monitor quality standards, safety regulations and relevant certifications;
- You collaborate with engineering, project management and production on structural process improvements;
- You ensure complete and correct quality registrations and documentation.
