• Software architecture design and translation: You translate and validate specifications into software architecture, both on a high-level and detailed level. Based on your experience, you make practical, fast, and well-founded decisions. A hands-on mindset is essential to translate customer requirements into feasible designs within project constraints. 
• Programming and testing control systems: You take responsibility for developing software solutions for various industrial applications. This includes testing activities and commissioning systems at customer sites. Common platforms include Beckhoff and Siemens. 
• Maintaining and extending existing software: You contribute to troubleshooting, support, and service after implementation. This requires a customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving skills. 
• Staying up to date with automation technology: You continuously follow technological trends and innovations and translate them into practical improvements in our solutions. You take a proactive approach and identify opportunities to make processes more efficient, smarter, and future-proof.

What we are looking for

• Hands-on mentality: from decision to execution
• Strong sense of responsibility WO or HBO+ degree in Computer Science or related field, combined with solid practical experience
• Relevant experience in industrial automation and PLC programming
• Experience with industrial automation and software development; 
• knowledge of PLC/HMI systems is a must 
• Team player 
• Solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
